1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how M/S HKG ENTERPRISES ("we", "us", "our"), the developer of the Sip & Spin application ("the App") available on Google Play, collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the App.

Sip & Spin is an adult (18+) party drinking game in which players spin a challenge wheel and play themed challenges with friends.

This policy applies to the Sip & Spin Android app and any associated websites or backend services operated by M/S HKG ENTERPRISES.

If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address
• Password (stored as a secure hash by our authentication provider — we never store your password in plain text)
• Display name
• Optional profile fields: username, bio, and avatar image
• If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google as permitted by your Google account settings

2.2 App activity / content you provide

• Custom challenge decks and challenge text you create when signed in
• Game session data such as pack selections, session duration, sip and point totals, parties played, challenges completed, and badges
• Party player names and avatars you enter for a local game session (these may sync to our servers when you are signed in and a session is saved)
• Preferences stored on your device, including age-verification confirmation (18+), sound, haptics, music, wheel display settings, and favorite decks

2.3 Payment information

Sip & Spin currently does not process real payments. No payment card or bank information is collected.

2.4 Device and diagnostic data

Standard technical data such as device model, OS version, app version, and crash or performance signals used to maintain and troubleshoot the App.

We do not use third-party analytics SDKs by default. If crash reporting is enabled in a production build, diagnostic data may be processed by Sentry.

2.5 Permissions

• Internet: Authenticate, sync profile and game data, and load app content
• Photo library / camera: Choose or take a photo for player or profile avatars (only when you use those features)
• Audio / modify audio settings: Play in-app sound effects and music (not used to record conversations)
• Vibrate: Provide haptic feedback

We do not request location access.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

• Create and manage your account and authenticate you (including Google Sign-In)
• Sync and display your profile, custom decks, game history, and stats when signed in
• Operate gameplay features and remember your on-device preferences
• Respond to support and privacy requests
• Maintain app stability and diagnose crashes when crash reporting is enabled
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

We share information only as necessary to operate the App:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and avatar storage (Supabase Privacy Policy)
• Google — Google Sign-In / OAuth (Google Privacy Policy)
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosting of associated static websites (for example auth callback and legal pages)
• Sentry (optional) — crash and diagnostic reporting when enabled in a production build (Sentry Privacy Policy)

We do not use advertising networks in Sip & Spin.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of M/S HKG ENTERPRISES, our users, or the public, or in connection with a business transfer (e.g. merger or acquisition).

5. Data Storage and Retention

• Account and app data are stored on our servers for as long as your account remains active (unless a shorter period is stated elsewhere in this policy).
• Preferences such as age verification, sound, haptics, and favorites remain on your device until you clear app data or uninstall.
• If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days for email requests. In-app deletion takes effect after you confirm. We may retain anonymized or legally required records for tax, accounting, or dispute purposes.

6. Account and Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated data by:

• In-app: Profile → Delete Account
• Online: emailing privacy@sipandspinparty.com with the subject Account Deletion Request

We will process email deletion requests within 30 days and confirm by email once complete.

In-app deletion removes your profile, custom decks, associated game session records, and your authentication account from our systems.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for data processing (which may limit App functionality)
• Export data you provided, where applicable

9. Children's Privacy

Sip & Spin is not directed at children under 18 (or the applicable age of consent in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App is intended for users 18 years and older only. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. International Users

Sip & Spin is operated from India. If you access the App from outside India, your information may be processed in India or in countries where our third-party service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated “Effective date.” Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
